Fairview Park Police looking for help identifying suspects accused of stealing from cars on Thursday morning

FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio — Fairview Park Police are looking for help identifying suspects who were seen going through cars in a parking garage on Lorain Road.

According to police, on Thursday morning around 3:30 a.m., FPPD responded to reports of two men going through parked cars in the 200 West Apartments.

Upon arrival, officers investigated one white male with a beard in a dark Nissan Altima, which had been stolen from a person in Cleveland. As the suspect fled the scene in the vehicle, the man almost hit two officers and a civilian.

Officers say the man then led them on a chase for several blocks on Lorain Road. The chase ended on Triskett Road, however, as traffic became too heavy to continue. The second male took off from the parking garage on foot and could not be found.

If you have any information on the two men, please call the Fairview Park Police if you have any information at 440-333-1234.
