Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax will launch its next-generation Micromax In Note 2 smartphone in India on January 25. The Company shares a short teaser video on Twitter showcasing the smartphone’s design. It reveals that the Micromax IN Note 2 will have a punch-hole display with narrow bezels on three sides along with a dazzling glass finish.
The company announces that the ‘In’ stands for India since the phone is fully designed and made in the country. The phone will retail via Micromax India channels and Flipkart. Notably, its dedicated micro-site on Flipkart is also live, which highlights some of the key specifications.
Micromax In Note 2 Specifications
Micromax In Note 2 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display and MediaTek Helio G95 SoC under the hood. The phone will support 30W fast charging that will seemingly deliver 50 percent charge in 25 minutes. The design reveals 48-megapixel quad cameras at the back, a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button, volume rockers, a hole-punch display, and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom. The website also shows a distinct chocolate color variant, but we might get more color options at the launch.
The rear camera module on the IN Note 2 houses a quad-camera setup including a 48-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies, the IN Note 2 will offer a 16-megapixel front camera. The rear camera setup is reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy S21 camera module.
The device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G95 processor. It will come in 6GB and 8GB of RAM configurations. The handset will be available in two storage variants; 64GB and 128GB. The upcoming IN Note 2 smartphone will boot Android 11. The upcoming IN Note 2 will be a successor to IN Note 1. Pricing details of the Micromax In Note 2 remain unclear.
