Xiaomi introduces a series of new smartphones Redmi note 11 series along with a couple of new products. Redmi Note 11 series- Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ smartphones were launched on Thursday through a dedicated event in China.
The new Redmi series comes in succession to the Redmi Note 10 series. Redmi 10 series launches in India in March this year. These new phones come with several upgrades, including high refresh rate displays, better cameras, and faster-charging support.
Alongside the phones, Xiaomi also introduces the successor to its Redmi Watch as the Redmi Watch 2. The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is the most premium model power by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. All three phones support 5G. Let us take a look at the price, specifications, and features of the Redmi Note 11 series.
Redmi Note 11 Series Price and Availability
The Redmi Note 11 comes in four variants – 4GB+128GB priced at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs 14,000), 6GB+128GB priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 15.200), 8GB+128GB priced at CNY 1,499(roughly Rs 17,500), and 8GB+256GB variant priced at CNY 1,699 (roughly 19,900).
Redmi Note 11 Pro 6GB + 128GB variant is price at CNY 1,599 (roughly 18,700), CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs 22,200) for the 8GB+128GB variant, and CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs 24,600) for the 8GB+256GB.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus starts at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs 22,200) for the 6GB+128GB variant, CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs 24,600) for the 8GB+128GB variant, and CNY 2,299 (roughly 26,900) for the 8GB+256GB variant.
Xiaomi also launched a Redmi Note 11 Yibo edition at the launch event that will feature the same specifications as the Redmi Note 11 Pro+.
The special edition device, with a unique Green-finish, 8GB RAM, and 256GB storage will retail for CNY 2699, or roughly around Rs 31,500.
The Redmi Watch 2 price will be CNY 399, which roughly equates to Rs 4,700 but will initially retail for an introductory price of CNY 349, or around Rs 4,000.
Redmi Watch 2 Specifications
The new Redmi Watch 2 comes with a 1.6-inch AMOLED display. It supports a 320×360 pixels resolution and a squarish, flat-edge design with rounded corners.
This smartwatch is powered by an Apollo 3.5 chipset. It comes with over 100 watch faces and 117 plus sports modes. The watch also sports several health features like blood oxygen saturation monitoring, heartbeat monitoring, sleep tracking, and more. Redmi Watch 2 also comes with GPS and NFC support and is waterproof up to 5ATM.
The Company has not revealed its plans to launch these phones in India. There are speculations that these devices will launch soon in India.
